New Arrivals

Hickory - Here-ye, here-ye, gather 'round everyone! You are now in the presence of Sir Hickory, maple cured and smoked in awesome.

Indeed, it's time again for another Wood Work update, and we return to our regularly scheduled format with mama Wood working on her mad guitar skillz.

You know, in between the puking and all. Poor thing. But prices must be payed for the precious babies.

To break up the monotony Holly decided she wanted to jam for a bit on the karaoke machine . . .

Diva much? Lol

Holly - . . . you've GOT to be kidding me.

Seriously, that's only the third time it's been used.

Mulberry - Well I didn't turn it on.

Myrtle - I sure as heck didn't. So if I didn't, and you didn't, then who did?!

Reginald - Ninjaaaaaaaaaa . . .

Holly and Hickory share some chit-chat.

Myrtle makes sure to give Annie some love.

And then Holly decides to do some slip'n'slide outside. I think I was bored and letting her do her own thing, hence the randomness, lolol.

Trying to get some more skill points in the photography skill, I was bouncing her around at random public lots. Just showcasing some of Lunar Lakes' awesomeness.

Out to the Art Gallery . . . hey, Remedy! You're not supposed to be here, you're ruining my story line! <_< ... >_> ... <_<

Remedy - Sorry guy, the ladies can't get enough of the berry.

Emberlynn - Oooo, he's pretty . . .

Maxine - Yum.

Orphal - My ex-wife is oogling another man. :<

-_-

Sometime later, back at the house Holly stops dead in her tracks on the front porch. And stays there. For an HOUR.

Myrtle - Hey mom.

Holly - Hi sweetie.

*more time passes*

Mulberry - Hey mom.

Holly - Hi sweetie. *pop*

Hi Waterlily!

Waterlily - It's that same truck . . . *suspicious glare*

Myrtle - I love the rain.

Mulberry - Oh yah, it's nice.

Hickory - *obnoxious yawn* Boooooring.

Hey now, no need to be a snot Hickory-*******-Dock.

Foot massaaaaaaaaage . . .

Mulberry - So, you're having ANOTHER baby, mom? Don't you think this is a little excessive? You're like, a hoarder. But with babies instead of newspapers.

Myrtle - Oh Great Berries preserve me, you did NOT just say that . . .

Holly - .... >:D

Holly - So, pending your immediate demise, I'm thinking some extra chores around the house and general kissing up might get you back on my good side and earn my forgiveness . . .

Mulberry - Aww, man.

Myrtle - Saw that one coming.

After the kids go to bed, Holly stays in front of the TV enjoying some special programing . . .

The next day, Hickory's back to playing Royalty. He really loves that game. A lot.

Myrtle parks herself in front of a game system.

And Mulberry attempts to recover from the gazillion chores Holly has him slaving away at.

And meanwhile . . . baby time!

Introducing Pecan Wood! Born with the traits Good and Loves the Outdoors.

And introducing his twin (and I think they're identical) brother, Pine Wood! Born with the traits Clumsy and Grumpy.

BONUS PICS -

Holly's newest grandsons have reached their teen stage! Still looking a whole lot like daddy. Linus -

And Nigel Wood.

Queen Ann's Lace has taken up Hunting in her twilight years. Here she is, stalking some beetles . . .

The fight is on!

Whoa, that doesn't look promising . . . O_o

Pffft, as if there was ever any doubt. ^_^

Quick, it's Gnome Talent Day guys!

Ralphie's impression of a slip'n'slider . . .

Snuggles miming the puppy trash can . . .

Reginald, hand-stand of awesome. Even the other gnomes are in awe.

But Neville gives us the BAWS Pose . . . and I think we have a winner, folks.

But you just can't keep a good gnome down.

Finding a Remedy

Note - This chapter will be entirely from the POV of Remedy Mars (made by Jessu). If you'd like to know more about what's going on with him, check out his story here - In Search of Remedy Mars.

Behind the garage, the previously inert Time Machine suddenly began to hum and pulse with energy.

After a moment of that the doors cracked open . . .

And out popped a curious and somewhat confused berry sim.

Remedy - Well . . . that was somewhat unexpected. Where in Berry's name am I now . . . ?

Only a cursory glance around revealed Remedy's greatest fears.

Remedy - . . . I'm lost. :<

As luck would have it, though, the time machine spat him out next to someone's house. The door was unlocked, so like any sim he casually let himself in. He was 'greeted' at the door by a fluffy white resident.

Remedy - Ooo, a kitty! Hello kitty!

Q. Ann - DIAF.

Remedy - D:

Just then, another of the house's residents appeared. Remedy hoped she wouldn't share her cat's animosity.

Remedy - Um, hello there. My name's Remedy Mars and I . . . uh, I-I just popped out of your time machine-thingy there behind the garage.

Holly - *Baaaaaaaaaaabieeeeeeeeeeeees*

Remedy - Uh . . . hello?

Holly - Not to worry, Remedy. My name's Holly Wood and this is my house. You've just found yourself in Lunar Lakes, is all.

Remedy - Lunar . . . Lakes?

Holly - Yeah, it's a different planet but it's not all bad. I myself am a recent addition. My genie child accidentally magicked us all here from Hidden Springs not too long ago. You're welcome to stay here until you get your bearings.

Remedy - Wow, thanks Holly.

Holly - In fact . . . you're more than welcome to share a few OTHER things while you stay, too, if you know what I mean.

Remedy - . . . wow.

Remedy - *It's my irresistable charm, no woman can resist it.*

Actually it's more like your pretty purple skin and hair that needs to be added to her Collective, but you believe whatever you want to, sweetheart. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Remedy - Thank you very much for the offer to stay, Holly. And the . . . other offer. I'm humbled and flattered.

Holly - You're more than welcome, handsome. So tell me, are you gonna take me up on it?

Remedy - *suddenly bashful* Weeeeeell . . .

It didn't seem this feisty redhead was willing to take no for an answer though.

Remedy was used to being the instigator, somewhat of a playberry. He'd never been so aggressively pursued before. Truth to tell . . . he was just the tiniest bit smitten.

Remedy - Hello again kitty!

Ann - DIAF.

Remedy - :<

Holly quickly took his mind off of the cat's less than amiable demeanor, though.

Way, waaaaaaaaay off.

It wasn't long after that, that Remedy found himself stripped down to his boxers.

Remedy - *Wow, girls on Lunar Lakes sure move fast!*

Most girls don't, Rem, just the 100 Baby Challenge Mamas, lol. They're on a mission, after all.

And that mission is a go.

After the bouncy-fun-time and the obligatory cuddles afterward, Remedy found himself overwhelmed with a suddenly strong case of homesickness.

Holly - What's the matter, sweetie?

Remedy - I'm scared, Holl. What if . . . what if I never find my way home?

Holly - Don't think like that, Remedy. Don't think like you're lost. Think of it as you've taken your first steps on the adventure of a life-time. Take in each new experience and treasure them. I hope you'll remember your time here with me fondly at least.

Remedy - . . . always.

As much as a part of him would like to stay here forever, the rest of him knew he had to be moving on. Continuing on with his 'adventure,' until it was time for him to go back home.

He pressed some buttons on the machine until the doors flew wide once again.

Leapt inside . . .

And once again Remedy was adrift on the time stream. Who knew where it would take him next?
