Lucky Palms or Bust!

What is this? WHAT IS THIS?! Is this an UPDATE?!

I do believe it is. 8)

First off . . . BAM! New town. Sorry I don't have a clever segue this time, but that's okay because LUCKY PALMS! I didn't think I'd ever be more fond of a world visually than I was Hidden Springs, but it's happened.

Also, new house! I didn't feel like staying on the ginormous 64x64 lot, so I put down a premade EA house on a 40x40 instead. I think it's called Kid Tested, Mother Approved? It's from Generations. I extended one of the rooms and did a thorough redecoration inside. I haven't taken house-tour pics yet, but I will eventually.

Pine and Pecan got straight to work enjoying the hot tub in the backyard. Enjoying those lazy-bones sunday afternoons takes a lot out of you.

Thyme was challenging himself to a game of hopscotch. And losing. Not really sure how, but there ya go.

What was Holly doing? With a brand new house full of brand new appliances, Mama-Holly got stuck on Upgrade duty. Annie and Biggles' auto-feeder was first on a long list.

Happy to report that all my gnomes made the trip safely. Say hi guys!

All - HAI!

Upon arrival in the new house I realized that Annie had accumulated over 12k happiness points so I purchased the pet bed reward. Here she and Bigglesworth are, showing it off.

AWWWWWEH!!!! That's so cuuuuuute.

The next morning is the boys' first day of school in a new town. Thyme is getting things off on the right foot by an early morning submarine adventure.

Pecan . . . is crying. Still. I've never seen a sim spontaneously boohoo as much as he does. O_o

And Holly . . . is still upgrading. There's a lot of appliances . . . .

Pecan - I can't do my homework! This CHAIR is in my way!

Good to see that glitch is still rearing it's ugly head. XD

Group homework session FTW! Don't ask me why Pine has to sit on the floor. He always does, too. He has an aversion to chairs. Maybe it helps his thinking process?

Bigglesworth was running toward the pet bed and tripped. It was SO CUTE! I could only get a screenshot of the aftermath though.

He and mommy enjoy some nappies together.

The boys have quickly discovered their personal favorite past-times at the new house. For Pecan, it's water-sliding.

For Pine, he's discovered a love for the trampoline out front.

Thyme likes to wander into the new nursery and gaze upon the generations that came before. Glad to report that all the kids' pictures successfully moved as well.

And Holly . . . WOULD have a past-time if she wasn't stuck upgrading everything still. XD

Aaaah, that's more like it.

Moar kitty bonding!! So precious.

While the boys were at school I sent Holly down to the new consignment shop I put in, made by the awesome CK213. Simscurios I believe it's called. It has all the magic gnomes placed, originally on shelves but they've since moved, lol.

I mainly sent Holly there to finally try out some of the magic store items. I've had them for a while and never got around to messing with them. This lull while we wait for the twins and Thyme to age up is the perfect opportunity.

The cauldron is first.

We conjured something . . . interesting. I suppose.

A little underwhelming but no biggie. After conjuring enough items, Holly moved on to brewing potions. I forget what she was trying to make, now. She seems pretty darned excited about it though.

Taste test!

Well, that doesn't look like a victorious face . . . O_o

Holly wasn't a fan of her own mixture. It was successful though, gave her a pretty nice mood boost for a few hours.

We tried out the magic book next. This would make an excellent addition to the Halliwell Manor I want to have once Supernatural comes out. Book of Shadows anyone? ^_~

While we were hanging out, baby-mama Emberlynn showed up to read a book or two.

Baby-mama Audry Greene also put in an appearance. Hai ladies!

Back home the boys were enjoying some TV together . . .

Pecan - I have a killer smile.

Pine - You what?

Thyme - HIS SMILE IS DEADLY! Avert your eyes!

Holly got an opportunity to have a drink at one of the clubs (Tribal, by CK213 ... I'm a fan of his builds, can you tell? XD ).

During the challenge it's rare for the baby-mama to get out for anything other than baby-making, so it's nice to change things up a bit. We ran into baby-mama Bethany Snowden there and Holly was sure to say hi.

Then she had herself a drink.

And some dancin'. Holly's not a bad dancer, either. Surprising since I don't remember ever dancing with her before.

Back home she bought her own spell book and tried a few . . .

With . . . varied results. O_o

That's it for this installment! Join us next time for more clubbing Holly and BIRTHDAYS! Our favorite BC time of the year. ^_~

BONUS PICS :

First, I'd like to share with you Holly's newest grandbaby. This is Raspberry Wood, daughter of Parsley Wood and his new wife, baby-mama Evangeline Dixon!

And now, back to your regularly scheduled gnome adventures . . .

Midnight the Dark hid out behind the toilet.

Ralphie found himself in the nursery.

Reginald harassed the see-saw.

Cosgrove assessed the hot tub

While Snuggles and Jarvis refused to move at all. For a little bit I was afraid they wouldn't group up anymore.

But you can't keep good gnomes down. ^_^
