Aspen Unexpected

Holly was back out in the garage, hard at work on her chemical helpers--along with the aging problem, she was also working on a way to maybe increase her seduction skills and increase the chance of having twins or triplets--when she went into labor for the second time. Figuring that she'd done this all before, Holly confidently twisted out a few stretches, sure that she had this in the bag.



Then the real pain started, and she remembered how much this part sucked.




REALLY sucked.



And when the baby was finally born, Holly noticed right away that something wasn't quite . . . right. Had her chemical experiments caused this? Or did it have something to do with the 'trouble at work' that Liam mentioned? One thing was certain, little Aspen Wood was definitely unique.




(This is the first save file that I've had a little problem with the vampirism running rampant. After both romances, Sebastian and Liam got turned into vampires. Sebastian after Cypress was born, Liam before Aspen was born. And apparently that's enough to turn the baby into a vampire, even though he was conceived before. I didn't even realize that was possible. I almost quit without saving to fix it, because I wasn't intending on having a vampire baby this early, but I decided to roll with it instead, lol).




Little Aspen was born with the Light Sleeper and Absent-Minded traits. Holly soon overlooked his physical differences in lieu of his adorableness.



Still, there are times when it's harder to ignore. Like when he's 'playing' with his doll . . .



Baby innocence just might give way to something a little more sinister in the future.
