Meanwhile Hyacinth and Hydrangea spent their weekend romping around the yard.
And they even managed to convince their scardy-cat older brother to join in at times.

They finished out the evening with a nice, scary ghost story.
As the days progressed, Hyacinth was starting to show signs of some interesting behavior.
Soon it was time for Aspen to attend his prom.
Unfortunately he had what was quite possibly the worst prom ever. He got into no less than 4 separate fights, AND his crush showed up with someone else and denied him for a dance. Needless to say he wasn't in much of a mood for the rest of the night.
