We last left off with the Woods being whisked away to Lunar Lakes via some genie-baby magic. I placed the house on a bigger lot, thinking I'd like to have some more yard space . . . I probably went overboard with that though, because now I have too much. Bah. Btw, I kept the landscaping crappy like that on purpose. I wanted it to look like the house had been transplanted from somewhere else, lol.
Holly is one to take pretty much anything in stride. She would miss most of her first thirty-six children, but she was comforted in the knowledge that they would lead full and happy lives back in Hidden Springs with or without her. So on that note, she got down to training her volatile magic-baby. Hopefully they'd avoid any other sudden-surprise relocations.
Birch - This sensation is altogether new to me . . . and I like it.
Holly - When you're a big boy and you go potty, you go to the little boy's room.
Birch - Fascinating . . .
Birch - My floatie powers seem to be on da fritz . . .
Of course, with Holly's LTRs and there only being one child, life skills were taught in no time. I left the Wood family a day or two to just get settled after that.
Cactus - Soooon . . . . SOOOOON! Buwahahahahah!
Snapdragon - Creeper Ice-Cream truck confirmed! What's our next move, Sansa?
Sansevieria - There's a steep cliff right behind the house . . . I think this calls for operation Ice Cream's Melting.
The twins also got into a deep discussion about sheet music . . . I can only imagine.
Cherry - AAAAUUURRRRGGGHHHH!! Sansa!!! Why would you come into MY room and turn on the TV while I'm still sleeping?!?!
Cactus - I think this calls for a tactical retreat, Carrot.
Carrot - I hear ya, Cactus. You're on your own, kid. Good luck not getting maimed.
Cactus - Yep . . . this TV show is filth.
Cherry - Hey! This is my favorite program.
Carrot - Yay, I'm not gonna be the one to get pummeled by Cherry today!
Carrot - Uh . . . do you mind, Cactus? I'm trying to work out.
Cactus - Yah. 'Trying' being the operative term.
Carrot - STFU.
When the triplets are aged, they'll finish that wall. *sniffle* All mah babies . . .
BONUS PIC -
Snuggles - So . . . was this what was supposed to happen?
Neville - Erm . . . not exactly . . .
Midnight - Great. Just great. Oh, and we've apparently killed the French guy too, nice going.
Welcome back to another edition of Outta the Wood Work. We begin today with all the kids gathered in the dining room . . . more or less . . . to do their homework.
Carrot actually brought a friend home, in the form of Eleanor Imagine. She had better things to do than homework, however.
After the cram session Cherry decided she'd like to get some fun-time out on the slip n slide. In the dark. Sims.
Carrot was drawn to the drafting table (hur hur).
Cactus continued to enjoy the monster TV.
Eleanor . . . continued to 'enjoy' the gyproscope.
While the twins Sansevieria and Snapdragon ate a thrilling meal of PB&J.
Where was Holly in all this? Still writing. She's almost completed her very first book, a Romance novel entitled "100 Hearts."
Eleanor enjoyed that Gyroscope so much she played on it til she passed out from exhaustion.
And the gnomes decided to mimic/mock her about it.
The next day, waiting for baby timez, I suddenly got a notification that Aspen Wood had maxed the Riding skill. Too curious, I used the map blips to track him down, and found him just . . . standing outside the Equestrian center. In a tux. So, uh . . . how does standing outside the Equestrian Center max out your riding skill in one go, Aspen?
Aspen - Because I'm awesome that way. True Story.
The kids brought home Bobbi Burton from school that day. She was able to just say no to the gyroscope (because kids can't use it, lame), and brought in her homework instead.
Cactus - Enjoy yourself while you can. After I become Evil Overlord and take over this town, it is very likely that you will die. No hard feelings though, right?
Bobbi - Um, is he for real?
Cherry - Just ignore it, like everybody else. He'll get distracted by the TV soon enough.
Here's Holly with a copy of her freshly finished book beside her. Woot! She started on her next piece, "I Dreamed of Genie."
In between all of this I get a notification that Wolfsbane has decided to get himself a boyfriend by the name of Ernie Holmes. I guess the whole mess with Elissa hit him harder than I thought. Here's said boyfriend after a subtle make-over, not too shabby.
Cosgrove has the 'I'm semi-invisible' glitch now. Blarg.
The kids are at school, Holly's left with clean-up duty in the meantime.
Haha, psyche! Baby time!
Introducing Birch Wood. Born with the Athletic and Perceptive traits, as well as the Genie gene! And . . . confession time. He popped out a complete Holly clone, so I cheated him some blue skin and silver eyes. *hangs head in shame* I just couldn't stand the thought of a clone baby this late in the game.
After the baby was settled and the other kids were home, Holly tromped out to the Mausoleum to finish her tasks for Coby's release.
*A ridiculous amount of hours later, after I finally cancelled the action and then it decided to work - fume*
Holly - Give it a little rub . . .
That sounds SO wrong.
Coby - Freeeedooooom! It is MINE!
Holly - Ok then, I'm glad you're free and all. By the way, while you were gone I had your baby. It's a boy named Birch.
Coby - A baby? . . . A genie baby? You have no idea what you've unleashed unto the world, Mistress Holly Wood. I hope you're prepared to deal with it.
Holly - What's that supposed to mean?
Birch - I has fingey . . . I wonder what happen if I point it like DIS!
MAGICAL LIGHTS AND SOUNDS SEGUE!
Holly - Oh. That's what he meant.
Cactus - Annie (Toto), I don't think we're in Hidden Springs (Kansas) anymore.
Queen Ann - No shit, Sherlock.
I was getting bombarded with Error Code 12s and crashes and lag, so I made the executive decision to move them to a new town - Lunar Lakes! I was going to wait until she reached 50 kids, but I just couldn't stand the errors any longer. Most of the previous baby-daddies and kids didn't make the move with them, though I did save a few of my favorites just so I could continue to see their shenanigans.
Wolfsbane and his new boyfriend came along, as well as my alien triplets and Aspen--who has now been MC married to Aisling so they can give me my own AU Linus baby. All of the baby-mamas have been re-transplanted, though the only one who kept her relationship is Emberlynn to Orphal, since I moved that entire family together.
Time for Outta the Wood Work! In this update Holly is in search of the next baby-daddy, whom I have decided will be of a . . . magical nature. She used some LTR to buy a dusty old lamp . . . and then that very same day Carrot found one on a Mausoleum field trip. BAH. Oh well, let's give it a rub shall we?
HOLLY - Oh geez, it went up my nose!
Uuuuh . . . whoops? Good thing we got that extra I guess. Back in the lamp, lady.
Genie - But--
BACK IN THE LAMP!
Okay, let's try this again.
Holly - Do I have to?
YES. I want genie babies!
Aha! Much better.
Very nice . . . this little gem is known as Coby Dumas. Genie extraordinaire.
And this is Coby revealing that he dislikes children . . . >:[ Well too bad, bottle-boy, you're gonna make me some whether you like it or not.
Holly decided to test-drive his abilities before we went with the releasing. This would prove to be a big mistake, but more on that later.
Holy crap that's scary-looking . . .
Holly wished for beauty, which would prove pointless as she already has the Attractive LTR and I'm guessing they're the same thing as nothing at all changed afterward.
And then Coby informs me that no more wishes for today, because he needs to rest. Well darn. I don't think I can wait a whole day of doing nothing before making babies . . . I'm impatient. XD
Holly - I find your blue skin and your clownish clothing irresistibly attractive . . .
Coby - Really? :D
Holly - All too easy . . .
Holly - So . . . I'm thinking there's something else you can do for me, Coby.
Coby - You're probably wanting to wish for money? I told you, mistress, I can only perform one wish a day--
Holly - No, no. I have plenty of money.
Coby - Then what is it?
Holly - Let's see if this will give you a hint.
Coby - Mmrrmph!
The kids are in the house . . . quick, Neville! Interference!
Neville - I got this. *turns stereo on full blast*
Well . . . I think this one's pretty self-explanatory. ^_~
Cactus - I sense a disturbance in the force . . .
Nothing at all to see in the bathroom, Cactus. Carry on with your day. Actually this is just me showing off his awesomely epic eyebrow-lift and appropriate t-shirt for an Evil Insane sim.
Another of the Wood's Showtime acquisitions. It's obnoxious, and I love it.
Carrot - I am, of course, a perfect specimen of manhood. I mean, I'm only a teen and I already have fans.
Snapdragon - Is this loser for real?
Cherry - Sadly, yes.
Meanwhile Holly was beginning to feel the consequences of her shower fun-time.
Praying to the porcelain god.
She also had another genie-related wish locked in and I decided to fulfill it like the considerate simmer that I am . . .
Holly and Coby - And IIIIIII wiiilll aaaaaalllwaaaaaays loooooove yoooooooooou!
Holly pulled some pretty awesome diva faces while belting it out.
Finally, however, tomorrow came and Holly wished for Coby's freedom.
Coby - Really? Cool! Well I'm just gonna go back into the lamp and be useless while you solve this puzzle on your own. Later!
Really? >_<
Okay Holly, the riddle calls to freeze the lamp, so go stick it in the freezer.
Holly - Uh . . . no.
What?
*Three hours later*
Holly - Gotta pop first.
.... Dangit. I've got a bad feeling . . .
The lamp gets frozen first.
Then the riddle calls to heat it up, so into the oven!
. . . it'd probably go faster if you'd stop opening the oven, Holly . . .
See? It's MAGIC.
And then we're supposed to take the lamp underground aka into the mausoleum . . . which it won't let me do now that she's pregnant. CRAP!! This means I can't free Coby until AFTER the baby is born. But until then he's not considered a real actual sim, which means the baby won't have a father. Which means it'll come out a Holly clone. *fume* .
Queen Ann - I iz in ur Challenge, photobombing ur srs picz.
Oh well. We'll just have to figure things out when we get to them. Until then, I leave you with Annie napping cutely on the countertop.
Queen Ann - Butterfliezzzzzz
BONUS PICS :
Aww, he really is Antonio's son.
